Hello, I can't believe I found this site on Parker guns. I have purchased this Parker and am loking for some info about it. I hope someone can guide me in the right direction to lear more about what I have. The serial # 111311 and they all match. It has a gold sheild on the stock. I was told that sadly someone tried to convert it into a lamp?, yes a lamp. They drilled a hole in the steel for a wire. The "only" up side is what I paid for it. Is ther any thing I can do to help make this a good looking specimen for display. It does need a good cleaning. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks for your time!!!

Sincerely,
VJ Enright

V.J.,

Please take some pictures. Overall and close up pictures would help us help you. Do you know how to take the Parker apart? If so take pictures of what is writen on the bottom of the barrels as well as the what is writen on the receiver so we can read it. This will help even more. Take a picture where they drilled the hole as well as what is writen on top of the rib between the barrels. A&F had gun lamps in their NY display room.

Kindest, Harry

We have a chandelier in the dining room of our gun club made from a hammergun. Somewhat kitschy IMHO but luckily it appears to be a Scott and not a Parker...

Pikers. :) The gen-u-ine article. We get the good Ducks Unlimited banquet stuff out here.

Nothing there says Parker to me . . .

No, its a Winchester and Winchester stuff is highly collectible....I'm holding out for at least $1000. See, good things happen when you go to a DU banquet and drink too much with your buddies. I figure the sky is the limit on all those Redlin prints, they'll be hot next and Kaas will be begging me for prints for his clubhouse.

Mr. Enright, I have been searching for a Parker gun lamp that I passed up at a show probably thirty years ago. What gauge is your lamp-gun? Since it's not really a gun, maybe I'm within PGCA forum the rules to say I would buy your gun if it's the same one I saw years ago.

That's exactly why I pay my dues and DON'T go to anymore DU banquets. Purchased too many retarded guns and puppy's over the years. Great carvings on that...uh...decoy Bruce, it's a keeper.:rotf:
