how many of you lc smith guys have seen the no 4 smith.was gonna show some pictures of one but my camera battery was as dead as a door nail... i bought this old gun several years ago its got the early style engraving...i would compare the engraving to a d grade parker not as much engraving as the d grade as dogs on it and they look like real dogs a setter one one side and a pointer on the other... whats yalls comments about these guns.... charlie

I recently acquired a similar gun, an 1899ish grade 3 with a straight grip and spectacular wood.
I'm quite impressed with it, Elsies don't usually catch my eye, but this drew me across a crowded gun show. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y52...ockactionR.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y52...be/ActionR.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y52...ockactionL.jpg http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y52...be/ActionL.jpg |
