Question BHE Grade

On a pistol grip BHE circa 1925-----should it have the just the gold plate/shield in the pistol grip cap??? Not a oval/round shield like on the DH or CH----- correct??? Thanks Craig

Craig, My BH hammer gun has the gold oval on the stock, it is a straight grip, 1898 vintage.
