Choke/Bore gauge
I'm looking for a tool strictly for measuring choke constriction. Any of you have one that you're happy with that's not too expensive?
I found this one at Brownells and was wondering if this is of good quality and maybe someone here has one. http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=1...GUN-BORE-GAUGE Thanks for any input. Bob |
I like my Brownells / Skeets bore diameter gauges. I have both 12/16 and the 20/28 and have used them for several years.
Best, Mike |
so far I just have the 12/16 Skeets - I like it, then I added the Manson wall thickness gauge to make a measuring set.
I would add the Skeets gauges were out of stock for a long time, not sure if that happens often, but just in case, as they say - I got mine while the gettin' was good |

Yup, that's the one you want. The least you will pay for such an excellent micrometer.

Thanks guys. I just ordered the last one in stock from Brownells.

I bought the one with two detatchable heads, one head does 10/12/16 and the other does 20/28. If you cannot find them at Brownells they have them at Midway also I believe.
