Original Configuration
Is there a quick way to tell how a Parker was originally ordered with out requesting a Parker Research Letter? This would be done as a heads up to find out about a gun prior to purchase. After the purchase, the letter of course would be requested?
Thanks Fritz |
You or someone else could look it up in Identification & Serialization Book. Post the serial number and we'll tell you what the book says.

Thank you Russ does it show the lenght of stock ...to a pad ?,to a DHBP?
Fritz |
Fritz,
Those do not show in the S book. For that a letter is required. Bob Jurewicz |
Fritz ,No , the serialization book shows the info. I gave you ! It should be enough to realize if the barrels are correct and the stock ,being Capped ,etc. but you would need a letter to realize more info. and even then some things ,Pads etc. ,are not always mentioned ,but there is a lot of good info. and you may find in the letter items you wouldn't find out otherwise ! Well worth the cost ! One thing to remember ,what is in the Serialization book ,is not written in stone ,it is a Great and Valuable tool but there are mistakes on occasion and good pictures and description on our PGCA site is always a good idea before purchase if you are able to post ! parker letter
Say I just clicked on the research tab to order a letter....It appears that the only way to pay is by check? Can it be done with PayPal or credit card? How long does it take to arrive ?
