Parker Pages and American Fly Fisher
2 Attachment(s)
A notice in the current American Fly Fisher, the Journal of the American Museum of Fly Fishing, provides that our recent inclusive article on the Parker-Hawes rods is now in the library of the museum.
The American Museum of Fly Fishing preserves the history of fly fishing and has a scholarly quarterly journal. Its directors and supporters include Paul Volcker ( past Federal Reserve chairman) , noted author Paul Schullery , and Orvis chairman Leigh Perkins. The Parker Pages article was provided to the museum by Austin Hogan, whose father was the founding curator of the museum. |
thanks for the reminder Bruce, I was thinking that article would be of interest to the Catskills Fly Fishing Museum and our annual Bammboo Rod Makers gathering there.

Great! I hope to get to the Colorado Cane Conclave in August. Mellow people and interesting rods. I'm sure its the same there.
