Not a Parker 410
I recently purchased my 2nd Francotte 410, not a Parker but doubt I will find a Parker 410 I could ever afford. I posted some comments and pictures on Doublegun Forum hoping to find someone who could tell be the difference between a Knockabout and this gun a 1923 HE sold as " Special Model". Bob Beach has been a wealth of knowledge as both of my guns were listed in the records. Bob continues to do some reseach, that I will share later. In the mean time if anyone has knowledge or thoughts between the two models it would be greatly appreciated.

The only thing I know about it is that it is very nice.
Thanks for showing it off |
Many Francottes are very nice guns. Trigg has one that is gorgeous and very nicely done in all respects.

Where does one go to find out info on Francottes. I just traded for one. It is a 12 ga with 27 " uncut barrels, gold arrow cocking indicators, a cheekpiece stock, sling swivels, moderate engraving, sideplates (false, I assume), and weighed less than the 16ga I traded for it.

I would start by going to Griffin and Howe web site and looking to see if your S/N is listed. Bob Beach does a great job of putting a packet together if they have information on your S/N.

What is your serial number? The G&H website lists the available numbers for research information.

thanks all for your replies. I'll have to go to the G&H website and check it out. The s# is34136, I don't have any idea what grade it is. I traded an old LC 16 Field that never did anything for me,ithink it was a pretty even trade.

It appears there are no records on your gun listed on the Griffin and Howe site. Very nice looking gun.
