PARKER CASE COLOR QUIZ
3 Attachment(s)
in the spirit of continuing our gentlemenly discussion of the sometimes controversial subject of receiver case coloring, and to have a little fun as well, following are pictures of three different parker guns.
one has original factory case colors. two do not. of the two that do not, one was recolored via the high heat bone charcoal method and the other was recolored via a low heat, chemical process. care to venture a guess as to which is which? |
high, original, low
|
Photo quality make it kind of tough to tell. They are over exposed and the color balance is off. The flash blown out areas don't help. Is it possible to take some side shots using soft diffused natural light, taken against a neutral gray background so we can see the true colors.
