One of Ansley's guns may have surfaced?

Does any one here know if the records match up? Thanks, Will |
If this Fox turns out to be the real deal this could be huge.

That is a gorgeous gun. Only thing that could make it better is if it were a Parker.

Well it looks like it was at least ordered by A.H. Fox.
" Re: Fox DE live bird gun by cook-winston » Wed Jan 18, 2012 6:53 pm I got the card and the gun was FOR: A. H. Fox but I guess it could have been he ordered for someone else (business, friend etc.) does anyone else have a gun that was built for A. H. Fox it sounds like I need something else to prove it was his personal gun Any ideas cook-winston Posts: 6Joined: Tue Jan 17, 2012 2:57 pm" Will |
Was it ordered while Ansley was still with the company?
|
Yes Bill it was.

What a gorgeous gun! Amazing what comes out of the closets of America, eh? What a find, Ansleys or not.
|
Intriguing that the closest to confirmation thus far is that the stock dimensions closely resemble two Parkers, one he had and one he cancelled. Regardless, a lovely double gun.

And since I didn't know they existed and happen to own a couple Fox guns I joined their forum as well ! |
