Parker Brothers G grade s/n 132583 history???
I have acquired a Parker Bros G grade w/30 inch damascus barrels F/F s/n 132583. I believe this side by side to be a live pigeon gun because there is no safety on the tang. Any insight or history about this beautiful old shotgun would be of great interest to my father and I.

There are records available to get a letter on your gun. You can order one from our home page.

Ordering a research letter would be the best way to start. It may say who it was sold to.
http://www.parkerguns.org/pages/letter.pdf How about posting some pictures of this Parker??. |
Working on that as we speak. Should have some photos posted shortly.

Attached are the photos of the side by side. My father ordered and received the Parker Gun Identification and serialation blue book (just printed). Unfortunately this parker and the other two in his collection fell into the serialized gaps of Parkers not captured in the publication. I guess the next step is to submit research letter request.

Parker live bird/trap guns are distinctive and make great shooters. Now that you've found one you'll be looking for another. Let's see a pic of the whole gun. That straight grip is a big plus for me.
