Lefever ?
I had posted this gun before that I bought at a pawn shop and never really looked at it after that but got to looking over ser. no and grade i thought it was a E grade but here goes. The barrel flats have ser. no. followed by a C. The water table has the ser. no. followed by a E. Does that make it a CE or what do I have. The ser. no. is 39263 Thanks Thomas

Thomas,
A few pics of the sideplates, water table, action, stock checkering and barrels would help. But it sounds like you have an E grade with barrels originally stamped for a C grade. Jack Kuzepski |
Jack: If you go back to page 5 you will see my earlier post with pictures. Maybe they will help Thomas

OOPS! Sorry about that, I'll go look.

Thomas,
That is an EE grade. the first E is the grade the second E stands for ejector. And as someone mentioned in the earlier post the E grades were a $100.- gun but with ejectors they were $15.- more. If the barrels have a C by the serial number whoever did the stamping thought the gun was going to be a C grade. Jack Kuzepski |
