Howdy All!
I've got a couple of Parkers and the info on the main page has helped to ID the models and years of manufacture.
12 Ga...Ser # 90126 (All parts ser# match) Frame #2 4/2 Weight Vulcan Steel Grade V 20 Ga..176045 (All parts ser # match) Trojan Frame #0 3/6 Weight There are a couple of other markings on the Watertable and Flat of the barrel ("OV" on the 20 and "KF" on the 12). Are these specific makers marks to indicate the artisan? Any extra info anyone can pass along would be helpful. Thanks Ken |
"OV" is Parker's designation for the Trojan... we're still trying to determine just what those letters indicate.
We have seen the Kf (usually as an upper case K and a lower case f) the f stamped by the barrel maker or gunworks superintendant (in this case King, the elder) signifying the barrels to be complete or finished. |
Thanks for shedding some light on these markings!
