another dove report
 
ive been watching the doves in my area and sad to say at the moment there not enough doves to have a shoot around my neck of the woods...i was over to tupelo yesterday i watched the powerlines on the way there was no birds to be seen...i hope you other fellas have been seeing more doves than i have...only thing im seeing lots of rite now are those pesky crows..there turn is coming soon... charlie

I've had a good report from the farm where my father and I are always invited to shoot opening day. They've started mowing some fox tail and are covered up with birds. Still a few days till the 1st Saturday in September but hopefully the weather stays hot so the birds stick around.

Lots of whitewings in and around San Antonio..all around water as so many creeks,tanks,ponds dryed up.Anyone shooting around water the first of Sept will get fast,close in shooting..28 ga in order for water holes..no mourning doves around..white wings have taken over..Bill
