Serials in 'The Book'.....

......for example, my Trojan #231411. If a number is in 'The Book', is that also an indication that there is an existing entry in factory records for a letter?

I guess not. I put that serial number into the search box on the Research Letter web page and it comes up that there are no records available for a letter. Sorry.

I also tried the 'search', with negative results, but was hoping for an oversight that may have allowed mine to have existing records. Thank you!
