Just a quick note that, after a long while - I have updated the opening page at:

Mary Bowes recently took over the Membership duties for the PGCA, and under her guidance - PGCA Membership has been one of the single greatest assets of this organization. On a personal level, it is a pleasure to work with her on a daily and weekly basis. Mary - THANK YOU!

As background, Mary's professional career has brought a number of her key personal assets and skill-sets to the Parker Gun Collectors Association, notably her professional attitude towards customer service (In Mary's view - we are her "customers", and it shows). Perhaps, as well, it was her years with IBM and other large and small organizations in Upper and Senior management positions, but whatever the reason, we are collectively thankful to her for her unbridled enthusiasm and work ethic.

While we don't allow her to have much spare time( ;) ), Mary also enjoys genealogy, gardening (her gardens are spectacular!!), walking the beach at "o-dark-thirty" in the AM, her family - and she has an immense love of all children.

Mary - thank you for all you have done for the PGCA over the past months. You certainly are a "PGCA Notable Person" - more to your credit then to ours..

I wholeheartedly agree John! Mary is a huge asset to this organization and I enjoy working with her and that great sense of humor..:) What she has accomplished in such a short length of time is nothing less than spectacular.

You have outlined Mary perfectly . I have known Mary for in excess of 40 years and what John has stated is only a small portion of her capabilities and her willingness to get the job done. Thanks for ALL that you do !! Allan
