SN not in ID & Serialization book but records exist?
 

I just purchased a VHE with SN 188945. That SN isn't in the ID & Serialization book. 188944 is but then the record skips to 191049.

However, when I enter 188945 into the "research letter" page I'm told that records exist. How can this be?

John, If it says you can get a research letter on it you can, sometimes there are skips in the serial # book

Parker Bros. kept two sets of books -- Stock Books and Order Books. The serialization book was done from the information from the surviving volumes of one of these sets of book. The PGCA has the information from both sets of books.
