Try having an armadillo BBQ Charlie. They are excellent eating, more tender than frog legs. We ate them in the jungle while working in Belize. Just gut them and clean them out and put them on the coals upside down until they're done then strip the meat out of the inside. Very good eating.

Hey Charlie, I read an article in some paper or magazine about 10 or 15 years ago where the game commission here in Virginia did a study on Quail. They took a piece of land about 400 to 600 acres and did a count on how many Quail there were in there. Then they did a count on how many what they call nest busters (skunks, possums, raccoons, foxes) were in there. Then they trapped a certain percentage of the nest busters out. The next year they said the Quail population jumped 250 percent. I have even heard of wild Turkeys eating young Quail when they first come out of the nest. Everything out there thinks that Quail taste good. Mike

Arma dillo is also known as Possum on the half shell:rotf: I'd use the 25 WSSM and a 75gr Hornady V-Max if your going to splat them then do it right the first time:p
