EHD sucks
 

Mother Nature is a b*tch. EHD has hit my farm in Belmont County, Ohio farm. The 8 pt made me sad, the 11 pt makes me want to cry. Found those 2 and a doe in a 15 minute walk. May not even hunt there this year. The nice 10 ptwas taken in back my house in West Virginia.

With that disease and CWD, sometimes it seems the deck is stacked against the whitetail, and yet they survive.

I see Ohio is running their grouse hunting like a big game affair. What a shame that politics and not science guided forest management.

I wonder what Lab this stuff came from and funded by which insurance companies.

I see the EHD being worse than CWD. With CWD you just shoot deer to keep the herd thinned for less large group contact. With EHD, deer go to any water when it's dry and that's where the midges are found, in the mud left from receding water. Those two EHD killed buck would have their skulls done in Euro mounts and hung at the cabin if that was me.
