Happy Birthday to this little Monster

Annie turns two today. Bold with an independent streak. Like most high draft picks she has the potential to be a Pro Bowler. I just need to use the right mix of patience, exposure, and discipline. Like some draft picks she also has had her off the field issues. Specifically, no stuffed animal or toy is safe, regardless of which granddaughter owns it. I hunted her last year as a puppy and let her be a puppy. She managed to find and point a few woodcock and a couple of grouse and made nice retrieves on a couple of wood ducks.

She starts this season as QB2 on the depth chart behind Hannah the Gordon Setter, but I think she is going to develop into a nice little bird dog.

...and consistency on the part of the trainer(s)
