Model 21 or Model 23
Given same condition and almost same asking price which almost fits your toy budget, if you had your choice (and both is not a choice) where would you lay your money down?
Next, if the 21 is 12 gauge and the 23 is 410 do you change your mind? Cheers, Jack |
John Olin's personal favorite Model 21 gets my vote.
|
believe i would go with the 21 also.. charlie

I have both and the 23 is for sale.

At even money and same condition, Model 21 in 12 gauge is favored, without a "vote" cast for the 23 in .410. Food for thought.
Thanks, Jack |
A 23 at $4000 is pretty maxed. A $4000 Model 21 will continue to rise in value. In fact, the 21s are in a real slump in price at this time, ready for a comeback. Double trigger 21s are becoming a real cult gun.

Jack, what are the details of this 21 you have your eye on? Grade / Pics?? You have a nice streak going especially with that nice Sterlingworth you just got.... this may be a keeper.

26" skeet chokes only seen 2 pics Haven't asked any questions. I keep seeing it on one Canadian site when I surf. Been there for over a month. Our market is quite different than yours. Asking, and not getting, 18 Ben Franklins I'm not on a roll, just interested that it continues to sit. Play money being diverted to Africa trip now. Cheers, Jack |
A very pretty and desirable straight grip 21.
