Nitro Barrels

So I've got this Parker with SN- 63922.. Site says this is an 1890. The Barrels are steel and say Herstal Belgium on one and the other Martin Siemen Nitro Steel.... Did these barrels come with this gun originally? Aftermarket?

Brian Dudley 07-13-2026 08:58 PM

They would be aftermarket.

Could you please post a full size in focus image of the barrel flats, and just forward of the flats. There should be a date code.
or send it to me as an attachment (not buried in the text) to drewhausemd@yahoo.com

I've not seen replacement barrels marked "Herstal Belgium" or "Nitro Steel"

The date code is lower case phi for 1961

Could you chalk that mark and let us know the letters? Something over 'VG'?
