Wrong cap ?

Hi all .
I have a Remington Parker vhe 24o830 made 1937. The grip cap says
Parker Bros. Meriden Ct; should it be Parker Iion Ny.
Is this right or wrong ?. The gun has a 1/2 size frame so was it made at
meriden or Iion Ny ? :banghead:

All the best Dave. :bigbye:

David, The frame size and serial number would make it a Remington era gun. As far as the grip cap goes I have seen gun's in this era with both Parker and Remington grip caps. Using up old stock possibly?

Thanks Dave that information is of great help.
All the best David.

I agree with Dave. Remington was using old stock from Meriden even after the the move to Ilion in '37. We often see examples of this.
