Parker patent stamp on an 1875 coin?

Hello-

I am new to the forum. Thank you for allowing me to join and ask you a couple of questions. I will preface my questions by letting you know, although a SASS member, I know little about original firearms from the late 19th century. So hopefully my questions aren't too absurd.

I came across the 1875-S US twenty-cent piece imaged below. In researching the patent date, one of the possibilities was the Parker twist double barrel, side-by-side, double trigger shotgun.

My questions are:

1. Did Parker (or someone representing Parker) ever counterstamp coins (e.g. for advertising, etc)?

2. Does the patent stamp on the coin match any known stamps used by Parker?

Thank you, everyone, for your help.
