Slip on pads????

I would like advice on a brand and size slip on pad for a Parker 0 frame 20 gauge? Thanks in advance

First choice: Galco in a Medium size. Top shelf, but pricey.
Runner up: Galazan Gamekeeper also in a Medium size. ~ half the cost of a Galco.
Either will add 5/8" to LOP.

Bought an Orvis small for my Repro 28 gauge this time last year…perfect fit, nice pad…made by galco, I believe…they had a sale, was around $90. Darker brown than others, probably varies…

I have multiple pads made my Gary Fatheree, The Leatherman. He is from south central PA and he attends the Spring Southern. They are a quality leather and faster with a buckle. They also have multiple foam inserts that can be swapped out depending on the length you need.

Lots of references here Greg, and here's yet another one. Kick-Killer leather slip ons. If your after recoil reduction without permanently altering the butt of the gun, this is the way to go. They come in numerous sizes. I have them all. I probably have 6 of these and have never had an issue with them.

I use them for LOP increase. They add 1/2" to 9/16" and come with an either Velcro securing flap, or leather laces. Super good quality, they stay secure in any conditions, and importantly (to me) Made In America.

I second the gamekeeper pads from Galazan. Had others and only kept the Gamekeepers.
Seem to fit better after leather breaks in. It does add length, bout 1/2 Inch or so. No issue for me, 14 1/2 inch LOP is my norm and most all my guns are 14 even to start....

Another option which is not that classy but work well and are reasonably priced are Beartooth slip on pads.

I like the look of the kick killer, but don't see anywhere to purchase? I am leaning on the Galco, but it is kind of a hard leather. Does anyone use the Pachmeyer Decelerator slip on ??

The Beartooth products are good. However, do not leave on the gun when not in use. I left one on a new 20 Beretta 686. On just one side of the stock it left an impression of the material that changed and damaged the finish. I don't know why on just one side. In fact, I would not leave any of them on when the gun is not in use.

Greg, after some looking around I have determined that they are no longer available. A site called Buffalo Arms, in Idaho, indicates that the pads are no longer available from the manufacturer. That's sad news.

If you will provide the measurements of your stock butt (length and width) I'll check through mine and see what size you'd need for your Parker. If you at least know that maybe you can find one on eBay, or another such site.
