Parker Story Volume III
For those who have recently received your Parker Pages -
Take note of Daniel Cote’s interest in the creation of the Parker Story Volume 3, on page 29 of this issue. I’m absolutely in to help in any way I can! This is an important and most worthy project!!! I hope you’ll join in this effort. |
I’ll be in touch with Daniel soon. I have some thoughts.
. |
Maybe some reproduction information?
|
A lot of new info on guns since vol 1-2 a worth„ project for sure, Gary
|
I haven't contacted Daniel yet, but I am inclined to share the Dick Baldwin files for Volume 3. At 80, I am trying to find a custodian for my paper collection. The Baldwin files are three binders chock full of Remington-Parker information and original letters and memos. The PGCA should be as interested as I am in sharing information for Volume 3.

I spoke to Daniel before the holidays, right after I received my latest issue of Parker Pages, to thank him for his endeavor, to wish him well, to offer help in any way and to share the story of my Parker AAHE and the artwork of Samuel Carter’s “Little Foxes” reproduced on the gun.
There is such an opportunity to continue the Story that I’m sure it will be a success. I hope others share in this enthusiasm to make it all happen. In addition, by way of both interest and support, I’ve subscribed to the new online DGJ. It’s off to a fine start and is another means to introduce/familiarize those to the remarkable resource that is DGJ. Happy holidays! |
Daniel has not acknowledged my offer to share the Baldwin collection for Volume 3. I assume he is busy with his other project. I wish he would pick one project, preferably The Parker Story Volume 3.
