A#1 Special and A1 Special
1 Attachment(s)
I received my documentation for my gun from Parker Gun Collectors Association and it says it is an A#1 special. I am assuming that the # is just there to show it is an A number one special and nothing else. However, I had never seen the use of # used to describe an A1 Special. Any thoughts?

You are correct. Can you post the letter?
I have a friend who likes to say "you are majoring on the minors". You have a Grade 8 A-1 Special. Or is it A1 Special. Or A#1 Special? I am confused now.
I have also seen A No.1 S written but never stamped that way.
. |
Either way it is: A Special 1
I have what looks like a hand typed Parker price list that includes the terminology "A number 1 grade"
It is all just semantics. Grade 8 hammerless.
I don't have one, but I'm looking.
A picture of the letter would be of great interest to all of us.

I was a bit confused about the A#1 Special but I guess that is just another way to say A1 Special. Here is a scan of the document. Fun to find things like this out. The oiled stock is a cool addition to what I have found out thanks to you on this site. Enjoy.
