Western New York Outlook

As some may know, I am originally from CNY but also lived in Niagara County for 3.5 years.

I was wondering if anyone from that region can tell me how it looks water and ducks wise?

I like to take a trip there every year or so and hunt the Tonawanda WMA and Iroquois NWR. I know that CNY and the Adirondacks are pretty dry right now.

Not looking for anyone's spots, as I have my own. Just looking for a generic opinion of if it's worth the trip.

You can post here or send me a private message.

Thanks in advance, very much appreciated.

It is extremely dry! It appears most of Montezuma is dry. Our marsh which borders Montezuma only has water because we have been pumping for a month!! No rain in the forecast. If you can find water you will likely be covered in ducks.

Pretty much all of upstate has been in a drought. The spring was wet as hell which wasn't good I presume for grouse numbers.
