NORTHERN SxS RESULTS

The event is completed. What a great weekend of shotgun fun. Even the weather cooperated again, no rain for four days. Good time, good food, good shooting, good friends-old and new. We hope to see y'all and some more new faces here for the 2026 iteration of the Northern SxS Challenge. Here are the event and award winners....

Outstanding! I really wanted to attend but with my car all smashed up and in the body shop for repair, plus the grandkids making the local swim club All Stars finals, duty and family called! So great to see so many new names among the winners as well as the newer blood and the "Old Duffers" we know have knocked them out over the years! Looking forward to these results, I smoked a fine imported cigar this AM as I sneaked out for a quick round of sporting clays. Well done to all and the fine weather over the course of the event was indeed a bonus and a blessing!

A lot of new faces and the usual cast of characters graced us with their presence this week. This event is a lot of work but worth every ounce of effort! We really love seeing the smiles and camaraderie that our double gun friends bring out during these celebrations. It also does our hearts good to see so many breaking out the Hawaiian shirts on Friday! The planning for the 2026 event starts now!

A huge thanks to Mike, Sam and his crew as the event was.... well, uneventful. It ran smoothly and the Friday night feed was over the top. About the only thing missing was Hawaiian music at the feed. The camaraderie was great, the targets were more than breakable and for July, one couldn't really complain about the weather. It was great seeing new faces there especially Clark and Beverly who are now hooked and shot extremely well for newbies on the course.

If you can't have fun doing this then I feel sorry for you.

Absolutely what Daryl says above: huge thanks to Mike, Sam and their crew. You did a fantastic job.

And Mike, yes great to see all those Hawaiian shirts. Would dancers in grass skirts be in the future? Naw, us old guys don't need that.

As long as the dancers are girls, where's the problem?:):)
