If I’m not mistaken once you bid on a gun and the auctions finished you need to contact/reply to the seller in a couple days . Then GB policy is that you get funds and FFL to the seller within 14 days .

Why use Gunbroker?

You are competing with every other idiot in the world with a wallet and a computer connection.

They now charge sales tax.

And I think there’s a 1% up charge as well.

Usually worse than full retail.

GunBroker can be a great site, but you have to have self control and knowledge of the product. I have procured numerous incredible bargains on there but you have to watch for bad/incomlplete descriptions and know the gun so you can realize what is going on. I have bought doubles with incorrect pictures, incorrect descriptions, odd but rare models, and guns reported to be damaged but weren't and got them for a fraction of their value. You just have to know enough to make the correct judgement. It's no different than buying at a famous auction and being charged a 25% buyers fee and absolutely ridiculous shipping and packing. You just have to stay in control.
