Inherited Parker
My father in law left my sons three Parkers-a 410,a 16 gauge and a 12 gauge.Unfortuanately prior to my father in laws passing my brother in law put the wrong shell in the 12 gauge and destroyed the right barrel of the gun. There is a huge hole in the side of the barrel.I talked to a gunsmith and he told me that restoration was impossible. What I would like to do is put a substitute barrel on the gun to at least make it usable again.I know this will make it "inauthentic" and not very valuable but at least it could be used.Does anybody have a suggestion about accomplishing this-Thank You Gordon W

Gordon, List the grade, frame size, and current barrel length. Is the forend ok? Orphan Parker barrels are most definitely available, especially in 12 gauge. They will most likely need fitting and some adjustment, but it may be worth it. Congrats on the others, folks will want to see pictures, obviously the .410 will attract A LOT of attention.
