Ned gunsmith recommendation
Hi,
I've got a 16ga side-by-side that needs some repair. I live in the Lacey Washington area - can anyone recommend a gunsmith near me (well, say, within 50 miles) that knows their way around Parker shotguns? |
Dan Cullity of Sandwich, Massachusetts

Learn something every day. I did not know that Lacey, Washington was in Massachusetts! :)

Well, let me elaborate a bit. There are two problems.
1: Cant get the barrels off. 2: If i dry fire, then it breaks very stiffly, after its opened i can easily close and open it again I may dig into it myself, I have the special screwdrivers but i would much rather a Parker knowledgeable gunsmith do it I've tried and checked everything i could find on the web without out disassembly so maybe i will take the bottom plate off and see if i can see anything that's causing problems. I'd love to go shoot it but not until it's in top shape and i can be confident it wont be damaged. |
Allen, just because you can get to the Cape from Cincinnati in under 3 hours doesn't make Lacey Washington under 50 miles away. Hell it isn't even under 50 miles to Cincinnati.

Relax Edgar, I just posted Dan Cullity as an alternative if he can't find a competent gunsmith closer to him. And Edgar, I don't live in Cincinnati.

Yeah, the chances are pretty slim there's anyone within 2500 miles. |
Edgar if he finds one worth his salt he will be a year or more out, Gary
