First Parker Shotgun
New to the forum, just got my membership not a collector just like shooting old guns saw this one couldn’t pass it up should be in my hands by next week, does anyone have any information on serial number 82226, thanks for any information

Book says one of sixteen Grade 3 (D grade) guns with Vulcan steel barrels.12 gauge, 30" barrels, Pistol grip, no options (extractor only)

Tell us what you know about it. Markings on the rib, grade markings on the water table.

Your gun is listed as a V3 grade, pistol grip, vulcan steel barrels, 30". Possible your gun is a D grade with Vulcan steel barrels. If it has more than just border engraving, with dogs on both sides, 4 birds on the bottom, it is a D. |

One of very few Grade-3 guns made with Vulcan Steel barrels. Most D's had Damascus Steel barrels, as Titanic Steel (the standard 'fluid steel' barrels for the D-grade) was not introduced until 1897 whern Titanic Steel was introduced. NICE find!!
