About as far from a double as you can get

I have this cool old Daisy 118 Target Special (called the Targeteer). It's got an adjustable rear sight so I'm told that marks it as late '40's. They take a special BB and I've never shot it. I'm watching a tube on the bay but I read somewhere that a certain size shotgun pellet will work. It's marked .118 caliber but I don't see any pellet that matches that. Anybody have an idea what might work...

Be careful, you could put your eye out with that!

I wonder is #6 copper plated shot would work?

For plated shot, the size is as plated. Therefore, #6 (plated or not) may be a tad too small. Also try #5 shot.

No. 6 is .110"
No. 5 is .120"
Apparently most guys use No. 6

i'd have to get it out, but I have an earlier version that was my grandfather's.

and if memory serves me right. I measured the pellets to be 5s
it isn't very powerful- I used to put a target on a paper grocery bag with a sheet of crumpled newspaper inside and the pellet would not penetrate the back side of the bag

Yeah; they were actually intended to be used indoors from what I understand.
