"Clays for Christmas" SxS Day at Rock Mountain

Sunday, December 15 we host our annual "Clays for Christmas" SxS day at The Rock. It's not a tournament, it's just a day to celebrate Christmas and fine vintage double guns. Regular daily target costs will apply, $35 for members and a break for non-members of $5/100 ($45). For SxS shooters, I will have chili made and Sam will have soup. I'll have some goodies (kalachi and kiffles) too. We ask you please call or email and let us know you will attending so we can provide enough food. "Tis the season!!

I will be making my Cincinnati Chili and Sam will be making her Mulligatawny soup. I already started making kalachi and there are venison goodies already in place.

I and several other double-gun friends will be at the Rock. I may have some SxS stuff to put on a for sale table. Will post separately in the Members Forum once I get things sorted out.

Craig, the kiffles are what I make with a walnut/sugar/egg filling. My kalachi is a family recipe and they are long rolls/ I make them in poppyseed/raisin, walnut, raspberry and apricot. They are usually about 18"-20" long, about 6"-8" circumference and weigh a couple of pounds.

First photo- kiffles
Second photo- kalachi

So both things are sweet . When I googled kalachi as a food it said it could be made savory or sweet .
