Parker Label (Leather)
Greetings,
I purchased one of the leather Parker labels from the person in the Ukraine that sells them. The label is real leather and very well made. I have an original Parker that I store in a Parker Repro case. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the best way to attach the leather Parker label over the Parker Repro label without ripping the felt liner in the Parker Repro case. Many thanks! |
A good heavy duty spray glue.

Elmers sells a spray glue in a blue and orange spray can that I have used for attaching labels in these cases that works well.

Thanks for the advice, B Dudley. I greatly appreciate it!

I know just the thing you’re talking about, Matt! I think you’ve both pointed me in the right direction. Thanks again, fellas!

Kevin , just my opinion and as they say about opinions they are like A##&&les ,we all have one but If it were me and my Repro Case was in good condition I would take a few good pictures and post it here for sale! They usually sell quickly especially if they are for a small bore and then I would search for another case for my Parker they aren't making anymore Repro Cases ! You may even end up with a new case plus a few bucks in your pocket to boot and your Repro case won't be ruined ! Once you use the heavy duty adhesive there is no going back without ruining your liner ! Again just my opinion and something to think about ! :)

Hi Dave,
He is on evilbay and a really great guy, been dealing with him forever. |
I have purchased several labels from the same person via EBay. Some, easy, and just as posted. The last came by mail two weeks after the Russian invaded.

I use Elmer's School Glue. It comes in a tube like a chap stick. I spread it in a thich line along all 4 edges of the label and make a cross in the middle. Very easy. Holds well. Water soluable so it could be removed.
