Fall Handicapped Sub-Gauge at Rock Mountain

Sunday, September 1 we host our annual Fall Handicapped Sub-Gauge event. 100 targets on 17 stations. Lewis classes, custom blue stone trophy for HOA shooter. If you're not familiar with our handicap system, you can find it on the bottom of the "Events" page of our website at www.rockmountainclays.com. Cost is $35 for members and $45 for non-members of RMSC. Shooting begins at 9:00 and you must be on the course to start your round by 1:00.

This is a very SxS friendly event.

The results are in and Frank "Cold Spring" Srebro took HOA honors with a score of 96/100 (10 bird handicap) shooting his 28g Browning 725 with 32" tubes. Well struck Frank!

Thanks Mike, whenever I pickup up that 32"/28g I think of Edwin Hedderly and the So Cal duck smallbore cult back in the day. For sure it's not a Parker smallbore and the tubes are up and down but she doesn't have any barrel porting and looks classy with satin stock finish. I keep two I-Mod chokes in place no matter what the target presentation; they're flush with the muzzles, I hate extended choke tubes. I also load true size 7-shot for use at times when hunting, not for clays. She throws an exceptionally consistent and tight pattern with 7's.

I like 7 shot for hunting also Frank, need to get another bag of it. Still have a few boxes of reloads in 16 and 20, want to try it in one of my 28s
