Repro Stock Touchup
Has anyone ever came up with a good fix for repairing a ding in a Repro stock? If so could you please share it or PM me please. Thanks

Contact Mark Larson, if anyone can he’s the one.

thank you

The heavy urethane type finish makes repair work a little tricky. Without knowing the exact sort of damage, it is hard to advise on the best method of repair. Your question is too general.
|
I agree it is a general question, but I was just asking and then further elaborate on the details of the damage depending on the replies. PM sent to you, thanks
|
Post a picture of the damaged area. It will then be easier for people to make a recommendation.

OK, I'm at work and will post a pic or two later tonight. Thanks

First time adding a photo, hope it works.

I bought a repo 20/16 ga DHE with a scared up stock. I totally stripped the stock, steamed out the dents and sanded it very smooth. I masked the checkering. I refinished with Tru-Oil. Rubbed in many coats and later use linseed oil about once a year. It turned out very nice.
