Von Leugerke and Detroid

I find this very interesting, a friend of mine was at a gun show the other day and came across a Parker ordered by Von Leugerke and Detroid, could this be a well known maker of some sort? T.

I have heard of a retailer named Von Lergke and Detmold.

Best,

Mike

They were the predecessor to Abercrombie & Fitch, before it became an adolescent trendy clothing store.

Thanks to all, could be worth digging a little deeper. T.

Von Lengerke & Detmold was in New York City, 318 Broadway in 1904, and by 1929 was acquired by the new operators of Abercrombie & Fitch Co. after Ezra H. Fitch retired. Von Lengerke & Antoine was the Chicago branch and continued to operate under that name until 1959.

We've come to expect nothing less from him. We're lucky to have him.
