Maybe the Last SBT?
 

While I understand it may never be known, I have SC sn 242311, a 32” SBT with Remington date codes indicating manufacture in January of 1942. There was an older post about the highest SN SBT I didn’t resurrect but I’d like to hear if anyone has found a later one. I know Remington made a few… thanks!

Beautiful!! Hard to imagine there were any made after that one. Is it a recent acquisition or have you had it a while? Could you also post a photo of the full stock and forend?

This is my friend's C grade SBT SN 242359. Completely redone by DelGreco. He believes it to be the last one made, but does anyone know for sure?

Are there any initials on the stock oval? What is the barrel length?

I don’t think anyone can definitely say for sure but it’s certainly a candidate.

Stock oval is blank and 32" Barrel. :)
