Nobody bid, so I thought it safe to ask a question. What in the wide world of sports is that on the floor plate? Never seen a picture of a C like that.

A pheasant that flies in circles with that backwards (or upside down) left wing.

I've seen worse!

Compared to the flying turnips on some Parkers, this pheasant is anatomically correct & identifiable. Engraving has come a long ways over the years & critters like this one are just some of the things we have to accept on these old guns we love. They are a reflection of the Era the gun was made in.
