New Parker Owner
4 Attachment(s)
I do not know very much about Parker guns. I collect old items and lately my interest has shifted to guns. I bought this Parker in an auction I went to the gun shop and the owner offered me $800. I have no intention of selling it, but would like to know more about it. This is what I know it is a 1879 Damascus 32". It says plain twist I believe, and has a 3 on the first barrel know. The serial number is 16044, and there is a letter U above these numbers. The stock has been refinished and the barrel has been reblued.
What is the value, and is this a nice piece from a collector's standpoint. Thank You for your help. |
I think without personal inspection , that they made you a very fair offer.

Todd: I'm with David. That's about all it's worth. Would be more if not refinished.
