Show and Tell Brag

I was looking for a new, modern SXS that will be able to shoot any type of shot shell, steel, Hevi-Shot, etc., to be used primarily for duck hunting. Jump shooting beaver ponds or set up over a small decoy spread.
I settled on this Orvis Heritage in 20 gauge. 28" barrels with screw-in choke tubes. 3" chambers, steel rated. Manufactured by Fabarm, it is basically the Autumn with a blued frame or receiver. Left-hand stock. It came with five (5) choke tubes, wrench, and lockable hard case. Fabarm USA told me not to expect a LH Autumn until April-May of 2024. Orvis gave me a good deal on this one, and I like the blued frame. It is a stout gun. Over-built but it will handle anything fed into it and will outlive me and probably a couple more. |
