V grade 28 ga. chokes

I have a 28 ga. v grade I was wondering what chokes it has the left barrel flat is marked 111 with a wk the right is k3 the left measures 0.529 the right is 0.538 thank you Al.

If (and this is a big if) the bore is the nominal .550 then you will have .012(Lt. Mod.) in the right barrel and .021 in the left(Imp. Mod.)in the left barrel.

Parker 28 gauges in .020 constriction are full. Your gun was probably ordered at modified and full. Have you gotten a PGCA letter? What is your serial number? Dave made a good guess, most early 28 gauges are nominal .550s. I have not measured any late 28s, but assume they are the same.

Alan: The wk stands for walter King who was Parker's plant manager & chief inspector.

Best regards, George
