Found a bastard Parker. Barrel is obviously not a Parker and has been cut. Choking stars , 4/3 indicate M/IC yet brass gauge indicates cyl/IC. Wood fits really well except foreend iron is set too deep. Single.trigger, beaver tail, capped pistol grip. Skeleton butt. Frame is profusely engraved and blued. Didn't study pattern to identify.
Serialization shows 206,000 to 210,000 gone. Is this indicative of the era (early 20's)? Are there other large blocks of missing numbers? |
VH can be a VH or a VHE. Yes, there are many numbers missing in that era. No order books in that era except book #100 which includes very few new manufactured guns. Sounds like you have European replacement barrels. We would like to see pictures of your gun.

Never bought it.
Owner had no idea what he had. He described it as a repro. Kinda decided to keep it. Going back today and.try to talk him out of it if it's still there. If choking had been better I would have it. |
The frames are not marked with an “e” for ejectors.

No pictures. He took it home. There's still hope.

I wouldn’t take it for any reason.
Bastard Parkers are simply not my thing. . |
