2023 Vintagers Tent Display

The theme for the PGCA display at the Vintagers (Sep. 7-9) will be "LONG BARRELED PARKERS". As always the interpretation of the theme is in the hands of the Owner, when in doubt bring that Parker. Just as a reference I would look at some general guides as follows:
410: 28" and up, can't be choosy here.
20 Ga: 30" and up
All other gauges: 32" and up
As always there will be room on the table for "My Favorite Parker" which does not have to meet any criteria other than being your favorite Parker. Stretch the truth if it isn't, just bring it :)

All PGCA members and even non-members are invited to display. I have created a display card that can be affixed to each gun. If you would be so kind as to drop me a line at randy@hsiagency.com or send me a PM with the info on your Parker I will prepare the card. It can be as simple as grade, gauge, DOM, etc., possibly a short comment and include your name or not. One thing I have noticed in the pavilion is that folks are continually inquiring as to "who owns that gun". If you do choose to put your name on the card my hope is that it will allow attendees to identify the owner and create some dialog with them thereby generating additional interest and certainly sharing the vast knowledge of the PGCA membership. Adding your name or not is your decision. Also feel free to bring any other Parker memorabilia along for display, all items welcomed with space permitting.

As in the past the PGCA will provide the tables, covers, and miscellaneous display items. We will do our best to be certain that no guns are left behind each evening but ultimately that responsibility will fall upon the owner. Looking forward to hearing from some of you with display guns and also to seeing some old friends again. See you all soon, safe travels to all.

Bringing this back to the top Gents for your consideration, the PGCA is most respectfully seeking your support, PLEASE :)

Gentlemen:

We still have room for a few more of your fine Parkers for the tent display. I know this is hard to imagine and is believable by only the wildest of imaginations yet this is true. Seize the opportunity before the door closes. The lines are open and operators are on standby :)

Just got home from the Vintagers. I am on overload. I didn't spend a lot of time on the PGCA display, but will go back tomorrow. What a show of fine guns, better than many past years.

We’re delayed by weather, but hope to get there tomorrow afternoon. I hope the weather improves.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it. Have fun and enjoy the fellowship and fine guns.
