I have a "G" lifter 24437. It has been shattered , glued , brazed , Arc welded and Browned . What I want to know is if there another spured buttplate like this other than a Parker. PaulAttachment 118023

Paul, the Parker you describe would originally have been made with a solid steel, spurred butt plate.

Thanks Dean , But I am wondering if how many "spured" you have seen that were not Parker ?

That's a really interesting butt plate. I wonder who the manufacturer was.

There were other manufacturers who put spurred butt plates on their guns though they likely will not interchange perfectly with the contour of the spurred relief of the Parker butt.

That plate you showed a photo of is not for a Parker.

Steel spurred plates were very common on many makers guns in and coming out of the muzzleloading era.
