I bought 26 brass 10 gauge Winchester Rival hulls from someone on here that were corroded a bit . I first put them in a tumbler for a couple hours and it didn’t do a great amount but mine is walnut hulls and corncobs . If I’d had the ceramic balls I think it woulda worked better . Then I put them in a sonic cleaner for a total of a couple hours , then rinsed with tap water . The sonic cleaner got a good amount off . I still wasn’t satisfied so I used a brass carding wheel and went over the outside taking care of most everything except for some discoloration .

Mike Venturino says take Windex that has cider vinegar in it and mix with water put in a plastic jug and as you shoot a round that has black powder drop the casing in the jug letting them soak until you get home . Something about the cider vinegar counteracts the BP residue .

Stainless steel pin media in a wet tumbler makes them new again. Available at many locations. They get the primer pockets clean too. A bit of “Dawn” dish soap and “LemiShine” gets them perfectly shiny, inside and out.

Basic white toothpaste works wonders on cleaning and polishing brass.
Works pretty good on old headlights too Charlie.

10ga, pop out the primers and put them on the plate pins in the dishwasher and wash them with the dishes. .I do them as I shoot them with BP.
