It went for $2825.00. I was in hopes Don Kaas would get the gun so it would be restored properly. Good luck to who ever got the 14 Ga DH

Aw, c'mon . . . whoever heard of a straight grip fourteen guage :duck:

Don Kaas 08-21-2009 08:08 AM

Nice of you to say so (I think...) Pat but the only thing this gun had going for it was it was a 14 gauge and I am not sure that is really such a big deal...

Destry L. Hoffard 08-21-2009 05:03 PM

And of course the ammo issue was to be considered, Don shoots all his guns.

Well, at least once anyway...

charlie cleveland 08-21-2009 11:25 PM

come on fellas that was a gun of a life time and i let it slide by.charlie

Don Kaas 08-22-2009 08:08 AM

Well, I guess that means I'm immortal because it was very easy to let that one slide...If your "gun of a lifetime" goes for $3K it should be easy to find satisfaction...a AA Whitworth top lever is a gun of a lifetime or at least a decade of it...to each his own.
