1929 Parker shotgun - valuation?
5 Attachment(s)
Hello! I recently acquired a Parker double barrel shotgun - based on the serial it appears to have been manufactured in 1929. It seems to be in very good shape, but I’m absolutely not an expert by any means.
I’d be curious to know its value, and what else I might need to look for? Thanks! |
Pluses: it is a fluid steel barreled PH grade smallbore.
Negatives. Pinned stock head, poor bluing condition, refinished wood and little to no original finishing on the frame. As to value, that isn't really for any of us to say. You should do a looking for what is out there for comparable guns. |

I jotted the serial number down with one digit off. Sorry for any confusion. Haste makes waste. |

A PH 26" 16 would make a nice little upland shooter. Cant tell if it is on an O or 1 frame.
Looks like the biggest detractor is the pinned head of the stock, which if solid , there are those that can make it disappear. Great that it has fluid steel barrels, i have a PH 20 with fluid steel barrels. |
By the buttplate, it would be assumed to be a #0 frame although the odd #1 frame gun has that buttplate.

Can you post a pic of the barrel flats? Now I'm curious of the frame size....
