Howdy Parker enthusiasts:
I inherited my fathers Parker 10g double hammer. I'm trying to find its value. Any input would be helpful. Thank you in advance Here are the facts from referencing numbers on this site. Receiver 1882 barrels 1879 #3 frame Grade 3 double hammer 33 in barrels |
A grade 3 hammer gun would be something that would be desirable in nearly any condition. However, how desirable depends on said condition. This one is in overall fair to good condition. It appears to be all there and has some good things going for it. But it has been well used and has a lot of wear and not much original finish remaining.
The 33" barrels would be suspect as to if they have been cut back. But at that length... from what? 34", 36" even? If you provide the serial number, the book can be checked to see if it is listed and what the original length may have been. If the barrels are cut, it would effect he value. But being still at over 32". some would still love that. |
